Star codes are customized to each account. The default star codes are listed below, but yours may be different. Check your user guide for the correct star codes for your service.

Hunt Groups

These star codes are managed in Forward Code Management.

Code Description
Custom Hunt Groups: Fixed
Forward the Hunt Group to a preconfigured phone number.
Custom Hunt Group: Variable
Forward the Hunt Group to a specified phone number.

Call Forwarding

These star codes are applied to the line.

Code Description
*72
Call Forward: All (On/Off)
Choose how all calls will be handled:
  – Busy Tone
  – Forward to a specific number
  – Send to Voicemail
*90 Call Forward: Busy (On/Off)
Choose how calls will be handled when the line is busy:
  – Busy Tone
  – Forward to a specific number
  – Send to Voicemail
*92 Call Forward: No Answer (On/Off)
Choose how calls will be handled when the line isn't answered:
  – Busy Tone
  – Forward to a specific number
  – Send to Voicemail
*94 Call Forward: Out of Service (On/Off)
Choose how calls will be handled when the line is out of service or not registered:
  – Busy Tone
  – Forward to a specific number
  – Send to Voicemail

Line Management

These star codes are applied to the line.

Code Description
*43 Call Waiting: Enable
Enables call waiting for ALL calls to the line.
*44 Call Waiting: Disable
Disables call waiting for ALL calls to the line.
*70 + TN Call Waiting: Disable Next Call
If call waiting is enabled on the line, this star code will disable caller ID on the current call. Future calls will not be affected.
*65 + TN Caller ID: Enable Next Call
If caller ID is blocked on the line, this star code will enable caller ID for the current call. Future calls will not be affected. If caller ID was already enabled, it will continue to be enabled.
*67 + TN Caller ID: Block Next Call
If caller ID is enabled on the line, this star code will block caller ID on the current call. Future calls will not be affected. If caller ID was already blocked, it will continue to be blocked.
*68 Caller ID: Block (On/Off)
Turns caller ID ON or OFF.
*69 Last Call Return (Call Back)
Dial the last caller ID number that rang the line.
*57 Call Trace
Marks a call for a trace in your Call History. Used for troubleshooting.
*98 Voicemail Management
Access the voicemail box assigned to the line.
